Atlanta Achieve One, Inc. is proud to announce its fifth annual charity Golf Classic, where fun and purpose are combined. The Golf Classic is to help high school boys in grades 9 - 12 to become productive, successful members of their communitty.  Volunteers help shape the future by presenting positive interactions and activities for at risk youth. The young men of Atlanta Achieve One, Inc. attend seminars, workshops, community volunteer activities and cultural events, in addition to receiving academic tutoring and mentoring. Graduating seniors are provided scholarships. 

 

Atlanta Achieve One, Inc. is the philanthropic arm of the Atlanta Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Incorporated. Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc., established in 1962 on the campus of Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD, as an international community service organization of college graduates and undergraduate men.  Read more about Atlanta Achieve One, Inc.

 

Participate in the charity Golf Classic for Atlanta Achieve One and you will be promoting the development of responsible, contributing young men in the community. Founder Robert Simpson and LPGA Instructor and Certified Fitter and, as one of the few African American LPGA members, golf advocate, Oneda Castillo. JOIN US at Cheroke Run Golf Club, a sought after course nestled in the rolling hills of Rockdale County and locted in the Georgia International Horse Park. A destination golf course, Cherokee Run was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay of the Arnold Palmer Design Group. It was originally opened in 1995.

IMPORTANT NOTE! Cherokee Run Golf Club requires golfers to dress in the following manner: Shirts with collars and appropriate shorts, pants, or skirts are required. Golf spikes or spikeless gof shoes are also required.
